| Why
mulch? Not only does mulching give a yard that neat,
"finished" look, but it provides your plants
with many benefits. Mulch keeps root systems cooler and
helps to hold moisture in the soil. It also acts as a
weed-preventer, by smothering down much of the weeds that
would normally germinate on bare soil. Lastly, as mulch
breaks down, it puts vital nutrients back into the soil
that plants need.
